Indian Doctors and Faerie Doctors
The Seattle Metaphysical Library presents a workshop by Corby Ingold:
"Indian Doctors and Faerie Doctors."
June 16, 2007, Saturday 2pm
Ballard Odd Fellows Hall
1706 NW Market Street
This workshop will explore the similarities between the shamanic practices of the Northwest Coast, and the practices of the "shamanic" tradition in Celtic Britain. Corby has studied extensively in Western Ireland and Scotland, as well as the doctoring traditions of the Northwest Coastal tribes.
He will read from text he has ready for publication, pointing out that faeries are not the ephemeral sprites of contemporary rumor, but powerful healers in an ancient tradition.
Suggested donation is $10.
