DIAMOND MIND
Perfect azure sky
stabs to the heart,
deeper than deep.
Who conceived it?
Golden sun like lion of bliss,
roaring a hole in the sky.
Who conceived it?
Long yellow grass on the hillside here
framed 'gainst blue-green waters before me.
Diamond breeze shaking poplar leaves:
flourish of rippling silver.
Who conceived it?
All here in
perfect
shining
One Mind
of green earth,
blue sky,
contained
and free.
