A Workshop with Corby Blackmoon Ingold
This workshop will explore in depth various
spiritual healing techniques from Earth-based indigenous cultures.
We will encounter these ancient
methodologies directly in a sacred and relaxed environment.
Participants will learn a variety of spiritual healing techniques
passed down from oral traditions which they can use in their
own lives, including local traditions of hands-on healing.
Topics covered will include the power in your hands, the sacredness of
breath and its practical uses in healing self and others, the importance
of sacred places and the art of pilgrimage, how the land we live on
influences us as healers and how to call upon the power inherent in the
land to help us, the uses of fire/light and water in healing, sacred song,
chant and dance.
What to bring: an open heart and mind, loose comfortable clothing, pillows,
cushions and a blanket if you wish, as well as drums and rattles.
Corby Blackmoon Ingold combines an active interest in his Celtic and
European roots with a deep initiation and long training in the ways
of Native indigenous peoples.
